Plans, Sections, and Elevation views are usually put together on one drawing paper as an integral part of the building plan. This is the basis of the implementation of building work. In addition, the presence of these drawings is required in obtaining a Building Permit.
Another definition of the plan, namely the top view of a building that is cut horizontally at least one meter from a height of 0.00 where a building with the top of the building is removed and the plan also serves as a guide or to separate one room from another.

Plans are one of the most important parts of a Construction Drawing. The plan comes from the Latin word "planum" which means "base". Further interpreted as the floor or the place where we stand. The floor plan is actually a cut image of a building in a plane
flat with a height between ± 0.8-1.00 meter above the normal floor (a floor that has a height from the estimated point of ± 0.00).
The purpose of making builsing elevation is to explain the planned three-dimensional spaces, both in terms of their relationships and functions. Therefore, the elevaion contains the height of the building, the direction from which the doors/windows place, notations for floor heights. The elevaion is informative if when seen/read one can feel the dimensions and spaciousness of height and can recognize the function of height.

A sectional drawing is an image of a building that is projected in a vertical plane and its position is taken at certain places, especially the negative (down) floor estimate. Sectional drawings show all the materials, both exterior and interior that will be used and are equipped with instructions which are key to the building system, such as mechanical parts, plumbing and so on. The function of the sectional drawings is to show the proportions of the interior spaces and their finishes. The sectional drawings consist of cross-sections and lengthwise.
